" We are Helarage "
Founded in 1989, Helarage evolved via a revolving door policy on membership around two central figures; Joe Queen on Bass, vocals, and lyrics and Craig Stearnes on Guitar and vocals. Joe and Craig met in a band called Faultline in 1987. Drummer Kenny Fourth joined in late 1997.
Helarage entered into a period of inactivity in 2002 when Kenny moved to Las Vegas. Craig can be found these days in Oklahoma City. Joe is Living in Boise. Joe and Craig spent most of 2004 with "Intentional Rage " recording the band's 5 song CD " The Price Of Freedom " before leaving for personal reasons.
In the intervening years, Helarage shared the bill with some of the greatest artists of our genre including: Dio, Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, LA Gunns, Dokken, Gilby Clarke, Y & T, Blue Oyster Cult, Pat Travers, Slaughter, Leather Wolf, Flotsam and Jetsom, Testament, Nevermore, Great White, Grip Inc., Jackyl, Lizzy Bordan, and Bang Tango.
In April of 1999 we recoreded our only ( to date ) full length CD.
